Our Store Manager is at the heart of the day-to-day Coastal Cowgirls operation. You’ll oversee our Hyde Park Village storefront + off-site event operations, lead and support our retail team, and make sure everything from staffing and inventory to customer experience and business operations runs smoothly.

But being our Store Manager is about more than keeping the store running.

You’re setting the standard for our team and the experience our guests receive.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO BE OUR STORE MANAGER

One minute you might be building the team schedule or checking inventory. The next, you could be coaching a team member, jumping onto the sales floor during a rush, solving a customer concern, or coordinating with our Events team for an upcoming activation.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is comfortable managing the details behind the scenes and leading from the floor.

Break it down for me:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Hyde Park Village storefront
Lead, motivate, and support our retail team
Manage employee scheduling, staffing, and store coverage
Oversee inventory organization, replenishment, and accuracy for the store and private events
Maintain store organization, presentation, cleanliness, and overall brand standards
Ensure every guest receives a welcoming, engaging, and memorable CCC experience
Professionally handle customer questions, concerns, and service issues
Establish and reinforce store procedures, team expectations, and accountability
Support recruiting, interviewing, and hiring as our team continues to grow
Partner with leadership on new-hire onboarding, training, and team development
Coordinate staffing, inventory, and operational needs for private events and activations
Monitor store performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer experience, and sales
Support company launches, events, activations, and other operational needs
Lead by example and jump in on the sales floor whenever your team needs you

WHAT WE ARE LOOKIN' FOR:

2+ years of retail management, store leadership, or comparable customer-facing management experience preferred
Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team
Experience with employee scheduling, inventory management, and day-to-day retail operations
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and select evenings or special events as business needs require
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with leadership and other departments
Experience within fashion, apparel, experiential retail, hospitality, events, or a lifestyle brand is a plus
Familiarity with retail POS, scheduling, and inventory management systems is preferred

WHAT ELSE YOU SHOULD KNOW:

This is a full-time, hourly, in-person position at our Hyde Park Village storefront in Tampa, Florida, averaging 36–40 hours per week.
Regular weekend availability is required, along with flexibility for select evenings, private events and special activations based on business needs.
We prefer 2+ years of retail management, store leadership or comparable customer-facing management experience. You should have demonstrated experience directly leading a team, including employee scheduling, along with experience in inventory management, day-to-day operations, and meeting sales KPIs.
Experience with retail POS, scheduling and inventory management systems is preferred. A background in fashion, apparel, experiential retail, hospitality, events or lifestyle brands is a plus.
